Despite the formal features of the derby's base, the flexible cowhide vegetable leather, sourced from Italy allows it to be worn as an everyday shoe. In addition, Kié has carefully included details extracted from her extensive dream diaries, along with the scrutinizing research on the Interbellum arts on DADA and Surrealism. After 2 years of documentation, her diary was mainly filled with “STAIRS”. Her recurring dream factor, “STAIRS” of this specific nightmare, has become the intriguing detail on the back seam of the shoes.
With a diamond-square toe shape, along with some nostalgic art-deco side seams, this classic yet unique derby silhouette surpasses all current industry trends, intending to make it -wearable for a lifetime-
